Little kids Crazy scientist lab Experiments:
1. Elephant toothpaste , food color with chemical reactions
The procedure is very simple. First take a plate and keep a sponge on it add few drops of food coloring and then liquid soap to it with hydrogen peroxide. Then add saturated solution of potassium iodide. The mixture will then produce massive foam.
2. Soapy water and gas experiment
In these Easy Science Experiments for Kids take one big bowl then fill up water into it. Add some liquid soap to it and mix it very well till it get’s dissolves properly. Take lighter and try to lit fire in the water filled up in the bowl; these will form bubbles into it. Dip your hand into that prepared solutions and bring your hand in connection with fire; you will see fire in your for few seconds but that won’t burn your hand. WARNING: These experiment should be carried out with teachers/parent / guardians.
3. Dancing Raisins Science Experiment
Fill the glass halfway with water. Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda, stirring to make sure it dissolves completely. Add enough vinegar to make the glass about three-quarters full. Plop a couple of raisins into each glass. Don’t be alarmed if they sink to the bottom--that’s supposed to happen. Turn on some dance music and observe the raisins. Soon they should begin dancing their way to the top of the glass.
4. Bubbling Blob - Lava Lamp
Fill the glass three-quarters full with olive oil. Fill the rest of the glass with water (almost to the top but not overflowing). Add about ten drops of food coloring. Be sure to make the water fairly dark in color. Then add 2 table spoon of baking soda in the glass. Watch the bubbles floating like lava in the water.
5. Colorful Convection Currents
Fill two of the glass with hot water and the other two bottles with cold water. Use yellow food coloring in the warm water and blue food coloring in the cold water. Your first observation will be what happens when the bottle filled with hot water sits on top of the bottle filled with cold water. To do this, place the card over the mouth of a hot water bottle (the yellow water). Hold the card in place as you turn the bottle upside down and place it on top of a cold water bottle (the blue water). The two bottles should be positioned so that they are mouth-to-mouth with the card separating the two liquids. Carefully slide the card out from between the two bottles. Make sure you are holding the top bottle as you remove the card. Watch what happens to the colored liquids in the two bottles with the card removed. The second part of the experiment is similar to the first. This time, you need to place the cold water (blue) on top of the hot water (yellow). Repeat Steps and carefully remove the card. Watch what happens this time.
